Souvala’s Professionals Union is the legal representative of all professionals,
of the local district of Vathi. It was first established ten years ago. It is
consisted of 50 members; professionals mostly occupied with tourism.
Its main aims are the following:
1. The protection of professional interests.
2. The development of an independent and healthy professional competition.
3. To solve problems by doing a systematic and scientific research.
4. To encourage the co-operation of its members.
Moreover, the Professional Union has the duty to advertise and revitalize the
main purpose of its occupation by doing commercials and by organizing summer
festivals at the port of Souvala.
